Hola, I'm Belen —

Cloth as a
canvas,
stitch as a line.

I'm a textile artist and fashion designer working between illustration, printed fabric, and small-run garments. Every piece begins as a drawing and ends on the machine — one at a time.

Selected Work

Drawings that become fabric.

Characters, faces, small worlds — first sketched by hand, then printed onto natural cloth and cut into wearable and everyday pieces.

— in her own words

"Every piece I make begins as a face on paper. The fabric just gives her somewhere to live."

The Studio

A machine, a window, and time.

The studio is a small room with good light and an old Consew machine. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is made twice the same way.

About

A quiet studio,
a full head of characters.

Belen is a textile artist and designer whose work sits between illustration and garment. She draws the women who show up in her sketchbooks, then prints them onto cloth and sews them into pieces meant to be used — worn, hung, wrapped, folded.

Her work is playful and unhurried: pom-poms, bright faces, hand-drawn eyes, and a lot of patience at the machine.
